The creative diapason of the duo Silence, consisting of Primož Hladnik and Boris Benko, stretches from composing original music with a distinct ethereal, self-reflexive note and fluid ambience, which has repeatedly manifested itself in the realm of theatre and film. The coordinates of the duo’s creative flow in the given situation can be summarized in the following quote: "As you've probably noticed, we live in a state of confusion. We teeter through a minefield of delicate choices,
struggling to find our way, plagued by uncertainty. In a way, being lost is our most familiar environment, our permanent address – our home, so to speak. We present A Tourist Guide to Feeling Lost, a musical travelogue that will help you stumble around in the dark with style. Enjoy landmarks and selfie spots while careering off course. Catch some sun on the slopes of your mounting insecurities. Savour a glass of wine among the ruins of your confidence." A Tourist Guide to Feeling Lost,
Silence's timely concert repertoire, is to be presented as part of the accompanying programme of the 56th Maribor Theatre Festival. During the subtle meandering through the labyrinth of absurdity, confusion and existential contradictions, the duet will be joined on stage by the keyboardist Petra Vidmar and the pianist Igor Vićentić.
